Painting with MOPAPA this weekend was a challenge.  There was so much reflected light from the sky and clouds, it was difficult to tell what color things were.  I never did decide whether the stand of trees to the right was cool or warm (as you can see, I painted a little of both).  I wouldn’t recommend guessing, but the cold was getting to me a bit.  All in all, it was a good experience and lesson in seeing values.  I think my value range is a little broad.  The light was from behind clouds most of the time so the values were actually a lot closer together.  Keep painting – keep learning…
