A late night studio painting…purple petunias and gold/yellow lilies just seem to want to have a conversation. This is an alla prima painting, 11×14 oil on panel.
These are from my garden – not sure of the variety, maybe Stella d’oro. They are thriving all over the St. Louis area this Spring. This painting is an alla prima oil on panel and measures 16×16.
