Bascom House Archway
Plein air painting this past Sunday with fellow painters Jan and Judy. It was another hot and humid day, but a little less so than in prior weeks. We started around mid-morning and painted until lunchtime. This painting is a partial side view of the house, it’s oil on unstretched canvas and measures approx. 9×12. Judy left her painting on her easel while we ate lunch and when we got back someone had loaded up a couple of her brushes with paint and mixed colors on her palette and into her clean paint piles! We are hoping it was an unsupervised child and not another childish/rude adult. At least they had sense enough not to add paint to her painting and they knew how to mix a really great orange ;).
